“Time Keeps Going Just the Same” is a song about tending to your garden and feeling the morning sun on your skin. I wrote it during a period of relative calm and new love — everything felt easy and I had the sense that I was fulfilling my duty on earth just by existing.

The recording is from the moment of inception — you can hear me pausing to refer to the lyrics as I played the new song for my lover for the very first time. At the very end, you can hear me asking her, "Do you like it?" She responds softly, “I do, it’s very sweet." Then, the recording stops.

I hope this song helps you find comfort in your relationship with time, and I trust you'll enjoy this moment of ease that I experienced and put to tape. Thank you for listening.
