I still don't know if it's true
So for now I do my walking on Telegraph Avenue

I woke up this morning still feeling tired
working so hard these days sometimes I feel expired
And I've heard it all before about living for today
but times have changed, I don't know if it's still cool to live that way
So I go downtown to try to find some work to do
but everybody tells you that there's nothing they can give to you
It can't be right because so many things are wrong
they'll try to tell you but nobody knows what's going on
Sometimes I get so lonely
Sometimes I get so blue
Search this town over for somebody I can talk to
but it gets so confusing with all these strange inflections
Everybody's got so many connections and they walk in different directions
I'm not saying that it's wrong
I guess it's fine
I just want a little bit more than somebody to take home at night
